Confirm your party budget and how much you're willing to spend on all aspects of the party.

2. Confirm party date & time

Decide on a time and date for the party, ensure it doesn't clash with school/public holidays, other kids parties etc.

3. Party venue

Choose and book a party venue if you're not holding the party at home.

4. Party theme

Decide on a party theme, perhaps your little one's favourite character or colour.

5. Party supplies

Buy your party supplies and include things you will need to decorate your venue (balloons, bunting, tableware, party bags etc).

6. Party invites

Write up a guest list and send out your party invites. Don't forget to include a RSVP date.

7. Party entertainment & party hire

Decide if you will have party entertainment or if you will use a party hire company for things such as toys and games, kids tables and chairs etc.

8. Birthday cake

Think about making or buying a birthday cake in the birthday party theme or a simple cake with your little one's age on it.
