Make your own glue sponge

What you will need for your glue sponge

  • Thick dishwashing sponge or 2 thin sponges

  • Plastic container with a lid

  • Kids glue

How to make a glue sponge

1. Cut the dishwashing sponge(s) to fit into the plastic container.

2. Pour the glue on to the sponge(s) and you're ready to go! It really is that easy.

Kids can press pieces of cut up paper or other craft materials onto the glue sponge to help create their pieces of art.

Once they've finished their masterpieces, just spritz the glue sponge with a few drops of water, put the lid on the container and store it away for next time.

To keep your glue sponge in tip top order, try to turn the glue sponge(s) over regularly.
