Make your own glue sponge

 
Have a go at making your own glue sponge for the kids to use. So easy to make and no more sticky glue everywhere! Just cut a sponge to fit into a container, pour glue on to the sponge and then the kids just press their little cut up pieces of paper onto it.

You will need:

  • Thick dishwashing sponge or 2 thin sponges
  • Plastic container with a lid
  • Children's glue


How to make a glue sponge

1. Cut the sponge(s) to fit into a container.

2. Pour the glue on to the sponge(s).

3. Kids then press their cut up pieces of paper onto the sponge.

4. Once you've finished for the day, spritz the sponge with a few drops of water and put the lid on the container.

5. And for regular maintenance, turn the sponge(s) over regularly too.
