At Marsden Preschool, we encourage children to become independent and confident learners, which means that by the time they move on to Primary School they are well on their way!
Our staff are professional Early Childhood educators, who provide a varied programme to challenge children and inspire a love of learning. They extend and support learning through a planned curriculum based on the exploration of children’s interests and under the guiding principles of Te Whâriki (the NZ early childhood curriculum).
Marsden Preschool educators create enjoyable and informative ways to embed a variety of age-appropriate literacy and mathematical concepts throughout the day and specialists teach Chinese and music.
Tamariki love playing with their bikes and scooters in the wide open spaces, and having buddies from the Primary School.
The school Librarian runs a weekly programme, and the school Nurse supports teachers in looking after the children.
At Marsden Preschool our opening hours are from 8.15am – 3.30pm and children can attend for 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
You can use your Government 20 hours ECE subsidy at Marsden Preschool too and session rates are very competitive.
The preschool has a maximum of 20 children so individual needs are well catered for.
