Since 2016 I’ve dedicated my professional life to making sure that parents who struggle with sleepless nights get the help they need – no matter what age their child is.

I specialise in babies from 3 months through to toddlers, preschoolers and school age children (and I work with adults too).

Why? Because I remember the struggles we had with my son as a young baby and how I felt like a failure as a Mum because he fought naps and wouldn’t sleep through the night.

Because I remember the confusion I felt when reading all the conflicting advice on the internet. Cry it out never worked and I still recall how we had to sit with my son for hours to fall asleep when he was older and then he’d still wake through the night and be in our bed because he was scared to fall asleep.

Because I remember how it felt when my marriage was dissolving, and we were arguing constantly because we were all so sleep deprived and feeling helpless.

Believe me, these don’t have to be issues for you. As a certified Sleep Sense™ Consultant, I’ve undergone a comprehensive training and mentoring programme directly under Dana Obleman, founder of the Sleep Sense™ system.

This is a global network of baby and child sleep consultants that has helped more than 100,000 families around the world sleep through the night. This on-going training, along with my extensive health background, means I have the very best tools and knowledge available to help you get your baby or child sleeping well. And now I mentor new Sleep Sense™ Consultants around the world too.

I truly believe that healthy sleep habits make for healthy children. A well-rested child is curious, energetic, happy, playful, and eager to learn, together we can make that your child.

Sleep is vital for your child’s growth, development and mood, not to mention, your sanity as a parent. So, let’s work together to ensure your baby or child is getting the sleep they need, and that you have the tools you need for good sleep to continue.

I have a number of baby and child sleep packages which can be customised to suit you and your family, I also hold seminars and am available for coffee group sessions too.

Cherished Sleep - Private Sleep Consultations

If you’re ready for a clear, easy-to-follow sleep plan, and the support to see it through, my private sleep consultations and sleep packages are for you.

There is a sleep consultation package to suit all budgets: from two weeks (DIY) online-only support to 4–6-week Cherished Sleep Skills Packages or VIP bedtime and half night options.

My private sleep packages will teach YOUR baby or child the skills necessary to happily sleep through the night and, if appropriate, take long, restful naps during the day.

During our consultation I’ll give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important, and why I recommend the things I do. You’ll receive and an easy-to-follow step by step plan that lets you make the decisions for your child. And we’ll discuss that plan for change in your family, because one size really doesn’t fit all.

Where practicable, I can come to your home for the sleep consultation and include a free assessment of your child’s sleep environment.

For clients outside the Auckland area (including international clients), consultations can be made via Zoom or WhatsApp video call or phone.

Once you get started, I will be with you every step of the way, effectively holding your hand while you implement your sleep plan to ensure it is working as it should. You don’t have to do this alone.

Cherished Sleep – Seminars & Coffee Groups

A Cherished Sleep seminar or coffee group session is a great (and cost-effective) way to help answer any questions you may have about your baby’s or child’s sleep or sleep problems.

Hosting a coffee group talk, or a group of friends with children of a similar age, allows me to tailor information specifically for your child’s age group and their specific sleep issues. This means you get personalised advice, not just general tips.

A sleep seminar or coffee group session runs for around 60-90 minutes for a minimum of 6 people. Over the course of this time, I will cover information on sleep props or sleep associations, bedtime routines, daytime nap schedules and other applicable sleep problems or issues. I also allow time to answer your individual sleep-related questions.

Group seminars and coffee group sessions can be held in the comfort of your own home or at a local community facility.
