How to make Easter egg potato stamps
What you’ll need for your Easter egg potato stamps
To make your Easter egg potato stamps
1. Cut the potatoes in half length ways with a sharp knife, ensuring you have a nice flat surface on each side.
2. Leave the potato skins on (no need to peel!) as it'll make them less slippery and easier to hold.
3. Blot the cut sides of the potatoes with the paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
4. With your pencil draw a pattern onto each potato half and use a sharp knife to cut around it. Otherwise use sharp-edged Easter cookie cutters to cut out the shapes.
5. Put a thin layer of paint(s) into each of the saucers or containers.
6. Set up the paper and your little one is ready to start dipping the potatoes into the paint and creating their own works of art with their Easter egg potato stamps!
