Make your own foam paints
What you'll need for your foam paints
White shaving foam
Food colouring in multiple colours
A muffin tin
Paint brushes (or kids little fingers!)
How to make your foam paints
1. Fill each space in the muffin tin with a squirt of shaving foam.
2. Add a drop or two of food colouring to each of the squirts of shaving foam. Use a different colour for each squirt of foam.
3. Take the paint brushes (or get your kids to use their fingers) and paint away! It’s that easy!
4. Because the paint dissolves, any remaining paint can be washed away when the kids are finished.
Tip
You might want to add a very small drop of washing up liquid to the mix to help remove the food colouring a little easier from your kids skin once they've finished painting.

With perhaps a little help from you, kids will have lots of fun making their own recycled robots with items you're recycling or already have around the house. Making recycled robots teaches kids about recycling every day items and giving them another purpose, instead of just throwing them away. It is also a great activity for using their imagination, concentration and problem solving skills.
