Have a go at making your own Easter rabbits with these easy instructions.

What you will need for your Easter bunny art

  • Large piece of paper

  • Yellow & purple watercolour paints for the rabbits bodies (or any two colours you have to hand)

  • White and black pens or paint for the rabbits eyes and face

Optional

  • Paint for the Easter flowers if you want to add them to your artwork

  • Wool or ribbon for the rabbits necks

  • Buttons in different colours for the Easter flowers

  • Glue

How to make your Easter bunny footprint art

1. Paint one of your child's feet with the yellow paint and make a footprint on the paper to form a rabbit’s body.

2. Paint your child’s other foot with the purple paint and make a footprint on the paper, next to the yellow footprint for the second rabbit.

3. Wait for the paint to dry and then with the white and black pens or paint, draw on the rabbits eyes and faces.

4. You can also paint flowers onto the paper and glue on buttons for the centres to give your artwork more of an Easter feel.

5. Or how about adding a small piece of ribbon or wool to go around the rabbits necks to make them even more cute.
