  • Coverseal
  • Vase or tin can washed & edges smoothed
  • Play dough
  • String or raffia
  • Scissors & tape

How to make your autumn tree decorations

1. Seal the autumn leaves using the coverseal.

2. Cut around each sealed leaf leaving a small seam of about 1/2cm around the edge.

3. Cut the string or raffia into various lengths and tape a piece to the back of each leaf.

4. Cut the coloured paper out to the size of the can, wrap around and stick on with the tape.

5. Fill the vase or tin can with play dough and push the branches into it. The play dough will weigh the vase or tin can down so that it doesn’t tip over.

6. Tie the autumn leaves onto the various branches at different heights.

7. For extra decoration you can also add pine cones, acorns and other autumn items to your tree.
