Make your own Christmas slime

 
Follow this easy recipe and turn ordinary slime into festive Christmas slime for kids to play with in the lead up to the big day.

Ingredients

 
  • 2 cups of red glitter glue*
  • 1.5 cups very warm water
  • A few drops of cinnamon or peppermint extract
  • 2 mixing bowls
  • 2 wooden spoons
  • 3 teaspoons of borax or cornflour
  • Extra 1 & 1/3 cups of warm water
  • Extra red glitter & green glitter (optional)

* you can either buy or make your own glitter glue
  

How to make Christmas slime


1. Add the red glitter glue, 1.5 cups of warm water, cinnamon or peppermint extract and extra glitter in a bowl and mix well with the wooden spoon.

2. In a separate bowl mix the borax or cornflour and the 1 & 1/3 cups of warm water with the other wooden spoon.

3. Add the borax or cornflour mixture to the glitter mixture.

4. Mix it all together with your hands and the slime will start to form.

5. Continue mixing with your hands until the slime reaches the correct consistency.
 

Tips

 
  • If the slime is too sticky dissolve a tiny amount of borax or cornflour in a small drop of water and add it to the slime. Mix thoroughly.
