Kids’ most favourite things all in one - Marshmallows AND slime!
Have a go at making this super easy marshmallow slime recipe at home. It's edible too.
Marshmallow slime
Ingredients for your marshmallow slime
- 250g mini marshmallows
- 300g cornflour
- 1.5 cups water
You'll also need:
A microwave safe dish to hold the marshmallows
Wooden spoon
Large mixing bowl
How to make marshmallow slime
1. Put all the marshmallows into a microwave safe dish and cook for 10 seconds.
2. Stir the mixture with the wooden spoon then cook for another 10 seconds. Repeat if necessary until all the marshmallows are melted.
3. Pour the cornflour into a large mixing bowl.
4. Add the water and give it a really good mix. Kids will love helping you with this!
5. Add your melted marshmallows and mix again thoroughly.
6.You’ll find it’s solid one minute and a liquid the next! The kids won’t believe their eyes!
Tips for marshmallow slime
- You can use large marshmallows, they may just take a little longer to melt.
- Add 2 teaspoons of green or orange food colouring for Halloween, red for Christmas or any other colour of your choice.
