AUCKLAND: At O'Sullivan School of Irish Dance we have just launched our Beginners Irish Dancing class for pre-school children aged 5 and under. This class focuses on exercises to develop basic Irish dancing technique. Dancers will engage in activities to learn left from right and to develop rhythm, strength and coordination whilst working towards learning the first steps of a single reel.
AUCKLAND: At O'Sullivan School of Irish Dance we have just launched our Beginners Pre-School Irish Dancing class in Auckland, O’Sullivan Minis, for pre-school children aged 5 years old and under.

Irish dancing is a great way for children to develop co-ordination, rhythm and stamina, while having fun and making new friends!


O’Sullivan Minis Class


Our O’Sullivan Minis class has been specially designed for pre-school children under 5 years old.

This class focuses on exercises to develop basic Irish dancing technique.

Dancers will engage in activities to learn left from right and to develop rhythm, strength and coordination whilst working towards learning the first steps of a single reel.

Class time: Saturdays 11.00am-11.30am

Venue: St Martin’s at St Chad’s Church Hall, 681 Sandringham Road, Sandringham, Auckland

Cost - $80 per term
 

Irish Dancing Classes For Adults & Kids 5 Years+


As well as our new pre-school class, we also offer Irish dancing classes in various central Auckland locations for children and adults of all ages and levels, from beginner to competitive.

There's something for everybody!
 

About Us


The O’Sullivan School of Irish Dance was established in 1997.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the school was first started by Hilary O’Sullivan TCRG who now runs the school with her daughter Emma Taylor (neé Ahmed) TCRG.

Since starting the school, our dancers have enjoyed great success, attaining titles at regional, national and international level in both solo and team events.

Hilary and Emma are both qualified Irish dancing teachers and are registered with the Traditional Irish Dancing Association of New Zealand and An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (the International Irish Dancing Commission).
